Default How to know the PR of a new domain name???
Hi,
I have a very bad habit of buying domains without thinking about how the domain name is. Can anyone suggest me a way how I should check the PR of a new domain which is still unregistered...

If a domain is unregistered then NO-PR is assigned to it

PR is assigned only after registering a domain and depends upon how many other sites/blogs are linked to that domain
Although you can check a future PR of a domain before google updates it's database by using this tool - http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/
Although it's a approx value

If you are buying a domain that has just expired and are trying to buy one with PR there is alot to actually ensure you are buying what you think you are buying. A few (of the many) places that you can use are:

http://estibot.com/index.php
http://smartpagerank.com/

These are free, but I am sure there are more reliable places you can pay for. The Google toolbar can be used, but beware of fake page rank.

absolutely, vchase! You hit the spot right there! Try to monitor website that has higher pagerank and about to expire! Now, if they will not renew, so it's all yours!

try to look & join sites that buys and sell domains. you can learn more from them too!
