How to start a forum like this?

I want to start a webmaster forum on my own and want to know what are all the requirements for the same. I have a domain name booked for it right now and what else should i need now. How can i embed a forum in my domain?

To make a forum you need :
1. a domain
2. a host
3. the forum script

You said you have the domain so u only need the host and the forum script . There are quite a number of scripts out there and they are free. ( TAN is a Vbulletin forum , you have to purchase the license either yearly or lifetime , for more information visit : www.vbulletin.com ) .

2.SMF ( i like this forum becuz their mods are easy to install )

yes, you need a domain, hosting and a forum. well most importantly, you need users to upkeep the forum activity and life.

Well actually putting up the site is the easy part as peopel have given instructions how to do so.


I think the most important part is to get useful info filled posts up. How to do this varies by how creative you get, you can give stuff away, you can pay people or just send massive amounts of paid traffic or organic traffic and hope to get sign ups.

Also you can post yourself, but this becomes tiring very fast and your variety of info and tone wont be as good, so its not reccommended.
