Orkut is an Internet social network service which is run by Google and named after its creator, Google employee Orkut Büyükkökten. It claims to be designed to help users meet new friends and maintain existing relationships. Similar to Facebook, Friendster and MySpace, Orkut goes a step further by permitting the creation of easy-to-set-up simple forums (called "communities") of users.

How many of you are part of Orkut, i have been using orkut since a year, mainly because all my friends are there.

now days orkut is becoming a pornsite .some member create some fake ids which contain porn videos and photos ,i am using orkut form 2 years because of my friends

Yes Orkut is being more famous in some of the Asian and South American countries like Brazil and India. It has toped the chart in Social Networking portal. I have been using it for long and it's really nice to be a part of this community.

yep im using orkut frm 2 yrs s many r creating fake ids but it is easy to find n make frds n we can develop our own communities really im njoying orkuting

I am a die-hard fan of orkut and have been a member there ever since it rolled out as a invitation only social networking site. I just love its features and easy to use interface. I have huge friends base in orkut.
