Ever heard of Scratch My Back Marketing?

Scratch My Back Marketing is an ethical link building system that incorporates branding and advertising in the link building process. It will require that you exchange useful content or comments in exchange for valuable Do Follow links. It can be used anywhere you are link building.

The rewards are enormous. Your comments or posts are definitely are less likely to be removed if you are adding value to a website and are not just self promoting. It might actually produce more traffic and business.

Think about this: have you ever visited a site or blog from a comment that read "nice post?" The answer is likely no. But if you are like most you might visit a site from someone who left a useful comment, Right?

Yes, adding useful content and comments does take more time but those comments are not likely to be deleted so you are further ahead in the long run.

Since you appear to be a link builder let me ask you is "nice post" a fair trade for several Do Follow backlinks?

I actually used this process for a year before sharing it beyond my blog. I also also done several case studies on link building and this is by far the most effective method that I have ever used.

What I am suggesting is that if you want something of value (do follow backlinks) then give something of value in return, like a useful comment that shows that you actually read the post that you are commenting on.

Scratch my back and I will scratch yours in return. I know this principle but ... unfortunately it doesn't always work.

Well, you are right nothing works all the time. Yesterday, I posted a 1500 word article on a site and it was rejected. The important thing here is that I wasn't banned from the site. It was simply my material was deemed not suitable for that site.

I didn't get banned because I had written a self promoting article and that's the whole idea. I had attempted to add value to the site and I was not penalized for that. I haven't specifically tracked how many article get posted but I would venture to guess that it's close to being north of 95% of the time.

It is all a rather simple process I give the website what they want and they give me what I want. The payoff has been beyond anything that I would have ever thought possible.

I'm glad that you found this concept. It isn't often that new ideas float around the forums that are not spam related. I would encourage you to give it a try. It is the potential to have a huge impact on your Google SERP's. I know that it has for me.

Hi 72,

I hear similar comments all the time from people who could not seem to get any improvement in their search rankings. Then they adopt Scratch My Back Marketing and start to see improvement. A lot of it has to do with their comments are not getting deleted anymore. Thus their efforts are not being wasted.
