I have used 250free.com very briefly as I was studying and learning to build a website. But I haven't visited them for a while now because I am so preoccupied with other important matters.

Freeweb7 and Freehostia

I made threads about the host i mentioned. Freeweb7 becuz it has a large amount of file space and bandwidth and freehostia becuz it is always updated and the SMF version is 1.14 which is quite seldomly found : / as most of them are 1.09

I think going with freehost is a bad idea they provide free hosting service for short period

I have used once 100gbfree.com for only to clear my hands on website designing it was good service without any adds and almost complete control with the user.

I think the most reliable free webhost I've come across is 110mb.com

they are usually fast to load and have good space and bandwidth. I'd say the only thing lacking is their traffic stats which they outsource to histats.com (which uses images to track visitors which isn't very reliable).

Though they're good for MFA/Adsense website mostly.
