Angry Its wrong we use others people content to our blog?

So, i know some people will think its like stupid question. But i like to know if some of you already think about this one. If someone copy your article or content to their blog or site. What do you think about that? Its legal to do that? What do you think if its happen to you?

It's Illegal to do that, if you don't have the permission to do so or advise and seek approval from the owner. That is why Copyscape.com exist! To track down copyrights violators in the World Wide Web!

Ask for permission , and leave a link to the original article and the name of the author.

now, here's what gets me stumped: I wrote a few articles for a girlfriend who has a gift basket business. I'm checking about a month later, and I noticed that over 100 sites had linked to one of the articles. Now, I'm thrilled, thinking this girl's going to get a bunch of traffic, but while I go through the list, I notice that several of them are multi-level marketing sites specifically for drop-shipped gift baskets.

I contacted one of them, asking them to take the link off their site. The guy has the brass to reply that he will not do so, as it is also helping my site to be linked.

Call me crazy, but that sounds like a load of nonsense to me. How is linking to someone who is technically a competitor good for me? I can understand if it's on e-zines and someone links to it, but seriously!

I also had a problem with people like car insurance companies linking to the site. Tell me: How does "Do YOU Suffer from Giftophobia" in any way, shape, or form relate to the gift basket industry?

I felt so bad for my friend. She had all these *ssholes linking to her because of this (dare I say, kick-*ss) article, she was looking forward to increased traffic, perhaps a few orders, and nothing!

If someone could help me understand this, I'd be eternally grateful.

God Bless.

Yes, it is absolutely wrong. Plagiarims in any form is not allowed on the net not only in copying blogs. But if you can get the permission from the author and leave a link back to that particular blog, then you can do it, no issues.

Absolutely it is not legal. You cannot actually copy from other source and post it as yours anywhere, if you have not obtained the permission to do so from the original author. even so you will need to give him a credit by linking to that page you took the article. this is how it works.
