Default Popular Mp3s on your Website

I know for sure that taking content that is not yours is illegal, but how about Mp3s where I think it just there everywhere. Can they charge you if you'll play their songs on your website?

If you come to think of it, we are actually promoting their songs, right?

I dont aee any legal issues behind it. You can easily do it. I have been doing it since a year now and my sites are working just fine...

They are not going to sue or charge you, at least without warning you. They will probably send you an email about it or something. Chances are that they will not bother you.

But the first thing you must do is to make sure you bought ur MP3 music and not download it or anything.

I wonder if this issue has been addressed on any news websites?

I have heard music on people's websites, but I thought that if you "broadcast" it in any way, you had to pay a royalty fee; even if you purchased a CD.

If that's not the case, then, heck; I'm going to put my lovely Barry White on some of my blogs.

Oooohhh, gotta love Barry....YUM!

Okay, I have to take a cold shower now....BYE!

sharing or linking illegal mp3 files is illegal. You may need to take permission before you can play their songs.

I thiink it's illegal to because the songwriters and the singer have to got paid for it because they spend millions of dollars to create a song.
