So, i hope you not forgot about this search engine. This one also a old search engine like cari, altavista and others. I believe some of you already try and know about this one right? So, did you still try this search engine?

yes i have but as u said old so the algo running is also old not like the one goolge has, but still better than most other search engines

I have never seen this search engine before, so i think it isn't very popular... But it does have an alexa rank around 1,000 and PR8, that's impressive.

I heard about it but never tried it. I think we should move on with the world. go for what all are willing to use.

Yes, lycos used to be one of the top search engines till some years back, till when google came. I used to do all my searches in lycos previously till google came and conquered the internet with their amazing search engine.

Lycos lost its dominance in the niche due to their own doing. they have not really concentrated on improving their product neither did they introduce any new product to retain the existing users and hence this fall.
