Ya! You can use google to create your own MP3 search engine
You can either use google custom search to build a search engine for the following term OR

and use the web form ( google search) to use the following string (Use the search_term_here for the song name )

-inurl:htm -inurl:html intitle:"index of" "Last modified" mp3 "search_term_here"

thats way too long, friend...

here are my short-cut:

intitle:index.of?mp3 "song or artist"

or if you want to make it more specific search:

intitle:index.of?mp3 "song or artist" -html -htm

so your search will be limited to index pages and not html or htm pages...
