Link baiting is the process of enticing other websites to link to your website as a result of interesting, newsworthy or entertaining content on the page. Link baiting is normally achieved through Blog pages, but can be achieved through any content page within your website.

Link baiting is one that seems to have surfaced over past 12 or so months and that is utilized by webmasters to describe a variety of practices all of which seek to produce incoming links to a website or blog from other sites. It is a new term for something that webmasters have been doing for many years. From my earliest days of blogging four years ago I know I saw people doing lots of things to get links.

Link baiting has come to be the preferred way to natural link building. It means to create something that naturally attract backlinks for your web page by getting people to talk about it, discussing it on forums, blogging about , posting it on sites. It also attracts a lot of visitors.

Link bait is content on your site to which other sites link as they want to, not because you ask them to. Usually, links are difficult to get, requiring you to surrender first born child and at least link back, which nullifies their value in some search engines. But with link bait, you bait the content and sit back and wait.

Link baiting (or linkbaiting) is the latest buzz word in the SEO world and has come to be the preferred way to natural link building.
It means to create something that naturally attract backlinks for your web page by getting people to talk about it, discussing it on forums, blogging about i, posting it on del.icio.us/Furl/Digg/Shoutwire and linking to it from their sites. It also attracts a lot of visitors.

Link baiting is the method of creating some info or tool on your site that will attract people to link to you and talk about it and share with others.
You can be amazing at how it works when you are doing it well.

The term “linkbait” is used to describe content on a website which is designed to generate incoming links from other sites. Some people disagree with the use of this term, since it sounds pejorative, implying that all linkbaiting is bad, while other people think that the term is perfectly accurate.

LInk baiting is the process of attracting web sites to link to your site by writting unique and intresting articles so that those sites links to your site without you asking them and so that both the sites can enjoy the benefits of it.

Linkbait is essentially a piece of content placed on a web page - whether it's an article, blog post, picture, or any other section of cyberspace - that is designed for the specific intention of gathering links from as many different sources as possible.
