Default How search engine rank pages

i)Thank's For Sharing this useful Tips with us for Improving Ranking Well I also Wanna Share With You Regarding This,Ranking Of Pages,It is Done By Two Ways:
i)Web crawler is a program, developed to scan the web page. The Crawler scans the entire page, indexes it and lists it on the search engine. It evaluates any particular web page based onseveral different factors such as keywords, table, page titles, body copy etc. Since listings aredone automatically, it can change if you change some content of the website.
ii)Manual listing is done in case of ‘Human Powered Directories’. Human editors are responsible for listing any site in the directory. Webmasters need to submit a short description to the directory for the entire site and a search looks for matches only in the description submitted. Listings are not affected if you change some content in your web site.

Regarding to human Powered Directories:

Open Directory is one such directory and submission depends on a human to actually submit a website. The submitter must provide website information including a proper title and description. Open Directory's editors may write their own description of your site, or re-write the information submitted. They have total control over your submission.
When you submit a website to a human-powered directory you must follow the rules and regulations set forth by that specific directory. While following its directives, you must submit the most appropriate information needed by potential internet users. A good site with good content has a greater chance of being reviewed and accepted by a human-powered directory.

Non-relevant pages make it through, and sometimes it may take a little more digging to find what you are looking for. But, by and large, search engines do an amazing job.

Default re: How search engine rank pages

Hello,

Search for anything using your favorite crawler-based search engine. Nearly instantly, the search engine will sort through the millions of pages it knows about and present you with ones that match your topic. The matches will even be ranked, so that the most relevant ones come first.

Of course, the search engines don't always get it right. Non-relevant pages make it through, and sometimes it may take a little more digging to find what you are looking for. But, by and large, search engines do an amazing job.

thanks!!
